Richie Venton an USDAW convener at IKEA Glasgow, a successful trade union organiser in the notoriously difficult retail sector, Venton was dismissed for an alleged breach of confidentiality. Venton is a well know figure on the left in Scotland and this is recognised with the solidarity shown thus far in fighting for Venton’s reinstatement. Anti*Capitalist Resistance would ask all comrades to support the campaign to reinstate Richie Venton.
