Zero Covid: Day of Action Saturday 13th March

3 March 2021

Next Monday 10 million people will be forced back into cramped, unventilated enclosed spaces while the coronavirus is still raging. Johnson’s roadmap is reckless and irresponsible.

Zoom meetings and social media are by themselves not enough. We must take action. Every single one of us. Join us at 2 pm on Saturday 13th March for the Zero Covid Day of Action.

From 2 pm onwards unfurl a banner or hold up a homemade placard with one of the following slogans:

130 000 Dead. Whose death is acceptable?

End the Social Murder!

Zero Covid Now!

We are allowed to meet up with one other person to socialise or exercise. Make sure that on 13th March you have a placard or banner with you when you do so! Take a photo or short video. Nearer the time we will send you details of where to send the photo on the day.

Perhaps take your daily exercise near your MP’s office, and reveal your placards there!

If you are self-isolating or shielding, or for any other reason you don’t want to leave your home, you can still take part! Hold the placard at your window or front door and get someone to take a photo. Perhaps bang a dustbin lid to draw attention!

Join your local Zero Covid WhatsApp group to see if there is a public space where others might also be exercising. Manchester, London, East London, Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol, Cheshire, Leicester, Merseyside, Oxford, Lancashire, Sheffield. If your area isn’t listed, email info@zerocovid.uk and we will put you in touch with others in your area.

Online Rally

From 3 pm till 4.30 pm there will be an online rally as part of the day of action. As well as a range of excellent speakers, we will be sharing photos and videos from the day, and there will be opportunities for discussion. Register now.

Start planning now for what you will be doing for the Zero Covid Day of Action on Saturday 13th March.
